In late June I hiked up to Andrews Glacier. Andrews is located in the Glacier Basin area of Rocky Mountain National Park. I like this area because it reminds me of the type of paintings that Carl Rungus did in the early part of the 20th century. Strong, visible, determined paint strokes. The air was thin and luckely the weather was cooperative.
