I recently spent four days in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming. A painting friend and I packed in nine miles with my two llamas to this wonderful spot. I will be putting up three more paintings that were done on location / plein air. The llamas love to be out on these trips and carry out camping and painting supplies but they have a mind of their own. One night I staked the llamas too close to each other and they got entangled. One of the "boys" got loose and didn't want to come back. My friend Ken T came up with a snaring idea and sure enough it worked. This painting will be sufficiently dry to ship by 8-24-10.

Very nice painting. That sounds like fun packing in with the Llamas, except for their independent streaks! The Winds are certainly a beautiful area of the country. I love following your work.
